QUANTUM MECHANICS
Most all Physicists agree that Quantum Mechanics is WEIRD! It very much changes the way that we look at physics and requires a much stronger cognitive ability, as the systems are often so small we cannot use our human senses to fully understand them.In quantum mechanics, producing the same result can be a problem if the science itself is wrapped around the idea of "Anything that can happen, will." Quantum Mechanics studies the mechanics of tiny theorized particles like quarks, electrons, nuetrinos, etc. Light, in quantum mechanics is treated as a partice called a photon. However light has shown evidence to act as both a particle AND a wave, making it difficult to visualize in one form. A great example of the weirdness in quantum mechanics with light is the Double Slit Experiment. The experiment was made to understand how light acts when being observed and unobserved.
